It finally happened!! After a solid year of planning, designing, editing, obsessing, consolidating data, building, testing, iterating… it finally launched! SkyGear Hub has been something I’ve been dreaming of since I first started paragliding back in 2009 - a way for people to research and compare gliders from every manufacturer in the world. Primarily, this tool is a proof of concept for a larger application of the system we’ve designed and built for interacting with gear research in a visual and interactive way. Now that it has launched, there is lots to do… plenty of new products to enter into the database, more product categories to add for paragliding, expand into other sky sports like skydiving and kite surfing, but for now I at least am stoked that the product of my creative vision has finally happened. I could not have done it without the amazing support of the dev team at Online Training Concepts - those guys are total rock stars.
