Whew!
What a trip. Sara and I just returned from an epic travel adventure in Costa Rica where we connected to Harry Knight to work on developing video content for a new education platform project we have in the works with OTC - if you don’t know about OTC, check out my ‘About’ page.
I would say one of the most interesting parts of the trip was how clear it is that Costa Rica takes Covid seriously. Way more so than the US. Everyone everywhere, and I do mean everyone, was masked. Indoors and out, unless someone was actually putting some food or beverage in their mouth, their mask was on. I know lots of folks have varying opinions on all that, but it was honestly kind of refreshing. No one bickering or posturing or yelling at the clerk or hostess about their rights being infringed upon. Just folks doing their thing, only doing it with a mask on.
Aside from that, the trip was a massive success - I got to do some surfing, some flying, worked on some fantastic educational content, and made some great friends along the way. Costa Rica has officially got me firmly in its grasp and I can hardly wait for my next trip.
